Gates Retires….

Ok so this is probably a day or so old but I will talk about it. After a long run of creating Microsoft, a huge corporation that is a household name, has decided to retire. While listening to the radio some believe he may actually work as tech support for fun …. HA! Not only has he created a “legal” monopoly he probably didn’t even need money after 1995 or earlier. Now this could possibly be great news for less widespread companies, I am talking about Apple. Good ole’ Steve Jobs might be able to overtake the industry, thats my opinion at least. Apple continues to create quality products such as the iPhone which is now being replaced by the 3G iPhone, a thinner phone which utilizes faster internet technologies. This new phone comes in 8 and 16 gb versions which is plenty of space for this feature filled device. Especially for computers though it seems as though Apple might have a good lead. The release of the Vista os has caused alot of problems and honestly Microsoft tried to do too much, too quick. Its true that Vista has similar features as OSX Leopard and some don’t work as well. Vista also requires ALOT of hardware to run at its full capacity. I am not a big fan of having different versions either. Apple Operating Systems offer all the features in just one version. The main problem I have with Vista is the hardware requirement though. It makes upgrading older or more basic hardware computers impossible. Do not take this as a Microsoft bashing, because I love windows and always have, but it seems like Apple is pulling away even though its not at always an obvious pace.
