Sexting (a portmanteau of sex and texting) is the act of sending sexually explicit messages or photos electronically, primarily between cell phones.

Apparently a thing called sexting is crossing the nation for teenagers. There has been several people caught in school with nude pictures on their cell phones of other kids. If a charge is upheld it would be along the lines of child pornography. Definitely a different group of people than you would think. When I think child pornography, I think older males (possibly females) that have a fetish for young kids and can lots of times lead to acting on these desires. I’m not sure necessarily if a huge punishment for kids is needed. Honestly though, when you send a picture like that, aren’t you taking a chance at least one other person than the intended is going to see it? Some of these kids obviously don’t know their consequences to their actions.
