Well this week I had my card pulled for a jury duty.  So let me start off by saying that it was an early day.  I had to go downtown and wait for this shuttle which came at 7:25am.  That was the first unappealing thing but also we had to check in around 7:40am at the courthouse.  That was all just the first two steps to the process.  Next I had to wait around till about 10:30am to find out we might not even get questioned for a trial.  At about 10:45am we were notified that the trial was settled so not even a single question answered.  That was the extent of my jury duty service.  I mean if I went I should at least get to see a trial right?  If you haven’t been summoned yet, that is basically what you have to look forward to.  Of course you do get paid though so at least time isn’t free.  The best thing is that everybody has to do it in their life so its not completely unfair.
