Rumors have it that the new PSP coming out will be named the ‘PSP Go!’. The system will be in 8GB and 16GB formats which really takes them to the next level as far as entertainment purposes. Also the PSP Go! will no longer have the UMD system that the original has. With the release, Sony is planning to have 100 new and old games available. Sony will be making the PSP Go! official at E3 next month and plans to have it hit the streets of Japan in September. The US launch will be in either late October or early November.

Sexting (a portmanteau of sex and texting) is the act of sending sexually explicit messages or photos electronically, primarily between cell phones.

Apparently a thing called sexting is crossing the nation for teenagers. There has been several people caught in school with nude pictures on their cell phones of other kids. If a charge is upheld it would be along the lines of child pornography. Definitely a different group of people than you would think. When I think child pornography, I think older males (possibly females) that have a fetish for young kids and can lots of times lead to acting on these desires. I’m not sure necessarily if a huge punishment for kids is needed. Honestly though, when you send a picture like that, aren’t you taking a chance at least one other person than the intended is going to see it? Some of these kids obviously don’t know their consequences to their actions.

If you want to read more about sexting you can read this article.

According to sources, the exclusive rights of the iPhone that AT&T holds end next year. However AT&T is not ready to give up the rights and are looking to get an extension into 2011. With the disappearing act of landline phones, they are willing to give discounts to other services if you are a wireless customer. As we all know, the iPhone has been the monster of touch screen smartphones and only recently has there been rising competition. Some other touch screen phones include: Blackberry Storm and the Palm Pre. I personally have the Blackberry Storm but it so far has left alot to be desired. I have heard that Verizon will be releasing the iPhone in their lineup when December rolls around. Since my contract ends in December it would be nice to see multiple devices to choose from, especially if the Storm #1 (you will learn about the #1 soon) is still lacking.

On January 20th, 2009, President Elect Barack Obama, will be sworn into office. As I’m sure you have been hearing since the election even began, this will be one for the books. He will not only become the 44th President of the United States, but he will also become the FIRST black President. It has been nearly 139 years since the 15th Amendment was ratified (February 3, 1870), which prohibits each government in the United States to prevent a citizen from voting based on that citizen’s race, color or previous condition of servitude (i.e., slavery), and 54 years since the end of the Civil Rights Movement, which aimed at abolishing racial discrimination. Also, many in the blackberry community and possibly others know that Obama is fighting to keep his blackberry which is his way of finding out any news during the day. Obviously the Freedom of Information Act and the possibility of his device being hacked might cause some security issues.

Also I’m bringing in the new year with a new design which looks pretty clean if you ask me. For some MLB news though…. John Smoltz, the long time Brave, will be wearing a Red Sox uniform this season along with Brad Penny who signed a contract as well. Also to that list is outfielder from the Tampa Bay Rays, Rocco baldelli. So I guess the Sox have got a lot of good talent for relatively cheap prices and hopefully they can compete with the Yankee’s who spent over $300 million on: CC Sabathia, Mark Teixeira and A.J. Burnett. It is very obvious the Yankees play by their own rules with what seems to be an unlimited bankroll. I still feel the Rays are the top contenders though, especially with the addition of Pat Burrell, who can add power in the DH spot.
