So, I have been thinking about this really since I bought the Social Network on DVD. What movies really inspire greatness?

If you did not notice, it seems most greatness inspiring movies are based on sports in one way or another. If you ever need a pick-me-up, watch one of these great movies.

New Year’s Resolution

So I have noticed that working full time is a lot more time consuming than school and baseball use to be. That is not a bad thing because you make money and it feels great, but I find myself not working out like I use to. My resolution is to start getting back into the swing of things and start working out again. I do need to decide what type of workout will work best with my busy schedule but there is no better feeling than having worked and completed a good workout all in the same day.

Florida Bound!

This week is special for several reasons. The first reason is that Friday we leave for spring break in Florida again. This is exciting because 12 games in 7 days and it starts off our season. The second reason this week is great is because it basically is the end of my undergraduate years. I am done with nine out of my twelve credits and will graduate this May. Although it has been fun, its been a long road of “required” school and now I really begin life in the real world. It’s crazy to think that in three months I am a college graduate because the years really have flown by.

No More Berry

I never thought the day would come in which I would give up my Blackberry but as of Sunday November, 22nd, 2009 I purchased the Motorola Droid.

Since I was running the original Blackberry Storm, my hardware needed some updating because of the slowness. I am very pleased with my Droid because of all the things it offers. I will miss my Blackberry Messenger though and if you have a Blackberry you will understand but its worth it.

Back home

Well after a long time, I am finally back home. It was a great experience going to the league and I had a lot of fun. My team, starting out the #3 seed in the tournament, ended up making it to the winners bracket championship. We lost that game but made it back through the losers bracket to the championship where we won both games clinching the title of number one. During our drive back we stopped in Aspen, which is kind of a cool little town. If I had lots of money, I would definitely spend Christmas there! On another note this coming week is my last week of summer so I will definitely have to make it good.

Halfway Through

Well we just had our league all-star game this past Monday so the league is over halfway done. Surprisingly it was a close game even though our team had the top three ranked teams vs the bottom three. After this week there is two full regular season weeks then the post season tournament. Only going to have like 1.5 weeks until class starts up again but its going to be that final senior year. Snoop Dogg is coming to town here this weekend and I kind of wish I got tickets but its ok I’ll find other things to do.

Another day in Boise

I figured that I would go ahead and try out a new blogging tool that just came out. Its a wordpress application for the blackberry platform. You can upload photos, make new posts and new pages. This would have came in handy when we didn’t have internet the past few days but I won’t need my computer in front of me to post now. I’m also watching Superbad right now which is always a great way to start off the day.

Boise Week 2-3

I definitely haven’t had the energy to update recently. I caught some bug that was going around or food poisoning (Olive Garden) and was feeling bad (puking a little). Anyways, our team has jumped up to 6-3 in the league and we have beaten the once undefeated Rattlers, twice. We should have even beat them the first time we played them but no worries. Something else that has recently been crossing my mind is that senior year of college is just around the corner. With my rents visiting here this week that leaves about 3 full weeks left in Idaho, and about 2 weeks at home before classes start up again. It is kind of hard to believe I’ve been here almost a month. It will be a nice change when that hits to actually sleep in my own bed again … campus beds haven’t changed since freshmen year haha. Oh yeah and we have a game tonight at 7:30pm MST and one tomorrow at the same time (4th of July). That’s all for right now but I should be back to posting frequently, of course that all depends on if the internet cooperates ….. food time now.

Boise Week 1

Well I have been in Boise for about a week now. We got in last week after 27 hours of driving but overall probably 32 or so hours. It was enjoyable to see some mountains and beautiful scenery on the way in through Wyoming and Utah. Also saw the Rockies from a far off distance. I have three other roommates in some pretty decent apartments. So far I have found some stuff to do but am still finding some night life stuff. We just got internet today so I have been out of action for a little bit. Also the league opened yesterday but my team’s first game is at 7:30pm MST (9:30pm EST) tonight. Summer Excitement

The photo expresses where I am going as of Thursday, June 11th until August. In case you don’t follow college football or can’t recognize this one of a kind stadium, I am going to Idaho or Boise/Nampa to be more accurate. Going to play around 30 summer games and get out of Michigan for the summer … finally. Its unfortunate its not cold right now because I would be even happier but I guess I will have to just settle. I’ve also been working hard on updating the design of my site. I thought I was happy with the design but I realized there was a couple big things that really bothered me and took away from the content, especially the newest post. With that being said, I should have the design updated before I leave and then will be updating more, with things going on out in Idaho.
