Understanding the various threat actor groups that exist is extremely important in keeping our networks secure. The different groups vary in not only sophistication and funding, but also in their motives. Although many threats we might face are technical in nature, at the core, these threats are humans and we must understand them to prevent them.
In this video, we are going to start by walking through the different threat actor groups that exist and their motivations. From there we will talk briefly about classifying threats, and then finish with threat modeling. When you are done with this video, you will have a better understanding of the threats that might attack your organization and their motives.
